Book Review: Wild Berries of Washington and Oregon by T. Abe Lloyd and Fiona H. Chambers

Rating: 4 stars of 5

This book’s biggest weakness is that the authors do not cite their sources for information.

While I don’t think it would be particularly useful as a field guide for identifying plants, it is a good resource for people who have identified edible plants on their property or in the wild areas around them and want to learn about how those plants work within the ecosystem or how to work with them in their kitchens or home apothecaries. Some of the recipes look absolutely delicious and I appreciated that the authors included safety information for the plants.
