Book Review: Yours Truly by Abby Jimenez

Rating: 4.5 stars of 5

I read this series out of order, so this is the last of the three that I read. (I reviewed Part of Your World here and Just for the Summer here.) I loved all three of them! This series is a great, breezy series to read in the summer, on vacation, or during a long grey winter when you want a dose of sunshine in your reads. All three of the books are delightful and have a good combination of fluffy, feel-good romance and substance.

Abby is skilled at developing her characters and subplots such that the stories have depth and her characters are likeable. She weaves in mental health aspects of story effortlessly, and I loved the way Jacob was neurodivergent-coded in this one. His letters back and forth with Briana were so cute.

I also really like the way Abby writes dialogue. Her stories always have me smiling and giggling as I read and this one was no exception.

Content advisory: contains profanity and some spice; brief mention of suicidal thinking in this one
